TEAMING:
 
 
  1. Team members represent all departments within school
  2. Team membership is voluntary
  3. Input of all team members is valued; members are given the opportunity to be heard as opposed to just vent
  4. Because students have behavioral concerns, faculty/staff are motivated to address behavior as a priority
  5. At monthly meetings data is reviewed to determine if modifications need to be made
  6. PBS team remains independent of the Emergency Response Team but both teams work in conjunction to address individual and school-wide concerns
  7. Information is shared annually or sooner if necessary
  8. Information is shared during pre-school in-service training or during faculty meetings
  9. A plan needs to be developed to share more readily with non-instructional staff
  10. Voluntary membership of team Members like one another
  11. Members feel it is safe to share concerns without fear of reprisal
  12. It’s fun to see the students embrace the concept of SOAR

  2. SOAR Expectations are known by all teachers, some staff
  3. Classroom rules are built around SOAR Expectations
  4. Students strive to be recognized as SOARing Eagles

~Lack of time; monthly meetings but still not enough time to brainstorm creatively
