IMPLEMENTATION QUOTES
TEAMING:
Team members represent all departments within school
Team membership is voluntary
Input of all team members is valued; members are given the opportunity to be heard as opposed to just vent
Because students have behavioral concerns, faculty/staff are motivated to address behavior as a priority
At monthly meetings data is reviewed to determine if modifications need to be made
PBS team remains independent of the Emergency Response Team but both teams work in conjunction to address individual and school-wide concerns
Information is shared annually or sooner if necessary
Information is shared during pre-school in-service training or during faculty meetings
A plan needs to be developed to share more readily with non-instructional staff
Voluntary membership of team Members like one another
Members feel it is safe to share concerns without fear of reprisal
It’s fun to see the students embrace the concept of SOAR
