~The biggest impact on the team success is the role of our supportive principal. Ms. Vogt engages in ongoing discussions with our PBS team; working with goals, data, student incentive ideas, etc. Our team is lead by our Administrative Dean and is comprised of teachers from each grade level and curriculum area.
Discipline referral data is analyzed on an on-going yearly basis as well as throughout the year to look at specific trends and incidents. Decisions are then made including the method and focus of teaching instruction regarding our code of conduct and reward programs for appropriate behavior.
PBS information is shared with faculty and staff via regular emails, newsletters, mailbox flyers, announcements (news & intercom), faculty meetings and staff development sessions.
The overall strength of the team is the administrator support and buy-in. This allows the PBS team more opportunities to share successes as well as receive time and funding for resources and activities. |
