~Our team works so well because we have a great representation of staff. All grade levels are represented as well as ESE. We also have our Behavior Specialist on the team so that we can utilize his expertise. I am the administrator on the team. I kind of lead the way and help everyone to stay focused. We have monthly PLC meetings(Professional Learning Communities). Every once in awhile, we print out our information and discuss it. We share information through the e-mail and staff announcements. We give the whole staff minutes from our meetings and announce information whenever necessary. How often do you share this information? We meet once a month, so we send the minutes monthly and any necessary announcements as needed.

| ~The school climate is better. The students are excited about the drawings each week, so I think they are making better decisions so that they can receive an entry ticket. | |||
| OBSTACLES: | |||
| ~Money is the biggest obstacle. When we reward the students with decent prizes, they take notice. To overcome this, we came up with a drawing system. We choose 7 names each week, one per team. Then the students pick a number 1 - 35. There is an envelope with that number on it and the students open it to see what they have won. The prizes range from a pick from the treasure box (little prizes) to a disposable camera, games, a CD player or even cash. This way there is always the possibility of choosing the big prize. We also do this live on our school’s T.V. station. | |||
