| TEAMING: |
All staff feels validated and empowered as a member. The administrator’s role is equal to all other members of the team.
We review data monthly and discuss changes needed for students’ progress. If a change or adjustment is needed, the team makes the recommendation and the administrator reviews and makes the final decision.
Information is shared through e-mails, calendars, word of mouth and monthly meetings. We share as often as deemed appropriate.
Communication, which is open and the team problem solves all concerns. Also, team members are respectful of other viewpoints. |

| IMPLEMENTATION: |
Rewarding students with points, tiger tokens, bonus points, monthly achievement awards, data based decision making, and collecting and evaluating data to clearly see areas of need. Students know expectations and the school climate is more positive. Students know expectations because the rules and expectations are rehearsed each morning and other times throughout the day and week. Students are often asked to recite rules and expectations for visitors to the school.
|
| OUTCOMES: |
| The number of incidents has decreased causing a better climate from the first of the year. Climate is calmer, test data improved, students more focused, fewer major behavior episodes and fewer students suspended with less days. |
| |
| OBSTACLES: |
| 1.) Need to share data on a more frequent basis. 2.) Financial obstacles to purchase items for principal store, or incentive closet; 3.) Communication. All of these areas have improved tremendously. The meetings are scheduled monthly with committee members and staff to discuss any concerns. Data is collected daily and charted. Also, financial obstacles are improved. It has been through several grants, we have been able to purchase incentives. |
