TEAMING:

I am the PBS Coach here at CMS. I organize the meeting and I share our data with our team, the school, and the community. Our PBS team is and excellent representation of our school. We have teachers, support staff, and the administration represented on our team.

With our data we can determine if our plan is actually working or not. We make adjustments based on our academic and discipline data to better motivate our students and teachers.

We share info with our staff at our faculty meetings and with the community with our PBS data wall in our lobby; we also use our school website.

Complete buy in of the process. We all have very different personalities and that makes for some very enlightening debates.

IMPLEMENTATION:

Our students love our reward system they can’t wait to take part in our PRIDE markets and our extended lunches. Our teachers are excited with our teacher of the month award. This award is voted on completely by the students.

OUTCOMES:
Teachers are more aware of our situation based on the open discussion of data. The idea of consistency is more apparent as far the different grade levels are concerned.

OBSTACLES:
#1 Consistency as far 6th grade goes, this ongoing. #2 Redesigned the 7th the grade system. #3 Continually redesigning the 8th grade honor card system.
